Honeybee Engraved Beech Wood Rolling Pin for Embossed Dough

Description

The Honeybee Engraved Rolling Pin is a handmade beech wood dough roller created in Latvia. Its surface is laser engraved with a honeybee design that transfers the pattern onto dough as the rolling pin moves across it. It can be used for decorating cookies, pies and fondant without adding separate decorations afterward.

The rolling pin has a metal axis that helps the wooden roller turn while in use. It measures 38 cm (14.96 inches) from end to end, while the engraved working area measures 18 cm (7.08 inches). The roller has a diameter of 6 cm (2.35 inches) and weighs approximately 450 g.

Each rolling pin is laser engraved and then oiled by hand. According to the seller, the rolling pins are safe for food use. Instructions and a cookie recipe are included with the product.

Because beech is a natural material and the rolling pin is handmade, some variation should be expected. The seller notes that laser engraving can result in differences in colour, small fissures and other natural variations. The finished rolling pin may therefore differ slightly from the product photos.

For cleaning, the rolling pin should not be placed in a dishwasher. Prolonged contact with water should also be avoided.
