Nasi en Stamppot
Welcome to Nasi en Stamppot
Nasi en Stamppot is our family YouTube channel where we share travel experiences, places we visit, everyday moments and stories from our life between Indonesian and Dutch cultures.
The name says a lot about us. Nasi is part of everyday life in Indonesia, while stamppot is a Dutch classic. Put them together and you get Nasi en Stamppot, a small reflection of our Indonesian-Dutch family.
Travel With Us
Travel is a big part of Nasi en Stamppot.
We share destinations through our own experience rather than trying to make everything look like a traditional travel guide. You can see the places we visit, what we do there and what travelling as a family actually looks like.
Indonesia Meets the Netherlands
Living in the Netherlands with Indonesian roots naturally brings two cultures into our everyday family life.
That mix is also where the name Nasi en Stamppot comes from.
The channel is not only about Indonesia or the Netherlands. It is simply our family perspective on the places we visit, the things we experience and the life around us.
Nasi en Stamppot + Twinkle So Bright
Nasi en Stamppot and Twinkle So Bright tell some of the same stories in different ways.
On Twinkle So Bright, mama write about travel, family life, shopping, lifestyle and personal experiences. On Nasi en Stamppot, some of those experiences continue through video.
Sometimes you can read the story on the blog and then see the actual place, trip or experience on YouTube.
