Using sonic technology, the toothbrush delivers 31,000 brush movements per minute. Philips states that the included W Optimal White brush head can remove up to five times more plaque than a manual toothbrush. Its densely packed bristles work alongside Sonicare Fluid Action, which directs liquid between the teeth and along the gum line.
The built-in pressure sensor detects when you’re brushing too hard and responds with gentle vibrations, prompting you to reduce the pressure. You can also choose between low, medium and high intensity depending on your brushing preference.
