Athletes Chris Brasher and John Disley founded The London Marathon in 1981. It is normally run every April in London, United Kingdom and generally it is set around the River Thames. The route starts in Blackheath and finishes at The Mall.
Popular Event
The London Marathon itself is very popular and it already broke 7 world records. But in 2021 it will be arranged on 3 October 2021 because of the pandemic situation. The delay schedule’s intention is to create the maximum number of participants who are able to join . The London Marathon in 2020 ran behind doors with a special course. Fortunately for this year, the race will come back to the traditional course.
