Set of 3 Beech Wood Embossed Rolling Pins with Floral Patterns

Description

This set of three embossed rolling pins is made from Polish beech wood, with a different floral pattern laser engraved into each pin. Rolling the engraved surface over dough creates a raised decorative pattern, making the set useful for cookies, gingerbread and shortcrust pastry as well as fondant, clay and salt dough.

Each rolling pin measures 23 cm (9.1 inches) from end to end, including the handles, with a diameter of 4.4 cm (1.7 inches). The engraved working area is 11.5 cm (4.5 inches) long. According to the seller, the pins have smooth handles and deep laser engraving intended to produce a clear imprint.

Before rolling, the seller recommends generously sprinkling the dough with flour to help prevent sticking. Because the engraved wooden surface needs more careful maintenance than a conventional washable rolling pin, these pins should not be put in a dishwasher or left soaking in water.

For routine cleaning, use a very soft brush. If water is necessary, wash the pin quickly and gently, then dry it thoroughly. Sharp or hard tools should not be used to remove dough because they may damage both the wood and the engraved pattern. Periodic treatment with a light food-grade oil is recommended.
